Blossom tried to be discreet, as she looked around for anything suspicious. “Huh?” She asked, confused by her friend. Her eyes met with a suspicious looking guy, dressed in all black. How cliche! When are these crooks going to start being original. She thought to herself as she un-linked arms with Caitlin. “I’ll be right back.” She slowly made her way towards the guy. “Freeze!” She shouted as the guy reached in his pockets. Everyone’s eyes focused on her. Some were accompanied by shocked and worried glances, while most were accompanied by dirty looks. “Is there a problem?” The guy asked pulling his wallet out of his pocket then placing money from the ATM in it. A lump formed in her throat and her face turned red. She wanted to cry from embarrassment. “No…” She said, holding back tears. “Sorry about that.” Laughter and whispers filled the air. Blossom’s head hung in shame as she made her way back to Caitlin. “Let’s get out of here.”
“See my dad wanted to learn a value of a dollar, so, he took my credit cards away. Which wasn’t so bad at first because if I never got a job, I would’ve never met my BFFs. But with this new town and all I need some cute outfits to impress hot guys. I mean wha-” Caitlin was interrupted by Blossom and her new friend took off towards some man. “Wait! Where are you going?” She then watched as the fiery redhead made a scene only to turn around and walk back with her head held low with shame. “Um…okay.” She linked arms with her friend again and made they their way out of the bank. “So… I have to ask…” Caitlin said turning to face her friend. “What was that about?”
Blossom looked up to face her friend. Her face matched her red hair and tears filled her eyes. She was embarrassed and had no idea how to explain her actions. How did she tell her human friend that she use to be crime fighting superhero on a hit cartoon? She would think she was nuts and no one would want to be her friend. “M-my dad was… a… cop!” She lied. “Back home, my dad was a policemen and really into his work twenty-four seven sometimes even taking me a long for the ride and I just have that paranoid cop thing, I guess.” She faked a laugh and continued on to tell fake stories about her dad being a cop and how she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Hopefully, the blonde would fall for the lie and they could just laugh it off. Blossom just wanted to move on from them and continue touring the town.
